Praan Naturals Organic Petitgrain Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of organic Citrus aurantium, more commonly known as the bitter orange tree. This is the same tree that gives us the intoxicatingly beautiful Neroli Essential Oil from the blossoms and also Bitter Orange Essential Oil from the peels of the citrus fruits.

The two primary constituents naturally present within Praan Naturals Organic Petitgrain Essential Oil are Linalyl Acetate (46%) and Linalol (26%) making the oil similar in properties and efficacy to that of Lavender Essential Oil.

Linalyl Acetate is the ester present in Lavender Essential Oil that significantly contributes to Lavender Oil's ability to help calm fragile nerves and help ease stress. Organic Petitgrain Essential Oil is also comprised of 26% Linalol, a monoterpenol that helps to support physical wellness and also helps contribute a sense of calm and wellbeing.

Aromatically, Organic Petitgrain Essential Oil possesses a pleasant, light, woody and slightly sweet, floral aroma that blends well with many other essential oils including those within the citrus, floral, spice, mint and wood families.
