Most conifer oils are comprised primarily of monoterpenes. Organic Black Spruce Essential Oil is unique amongst coniferous essential oils as it typically contains about 20-25% esters such as bornyl acetate and isobornyl acetate. Esters tend to be calming and balancing, and they contribute to the oil's ability to help balance the emotions without being excessively stimulating.
