Tangerine Essential Oil

Tangerine Orange Essential Oil, Citrus reticulata, is cold pressed from the peels of the fruit. It has a beautiful, tangy yet sweet tangerine aroma. Within holistic aromatherapy applications, it is an energizing oil while simultaneously promoting tranquility and a sense of well-being. It is often included in blends intended to help calm tension and anxiety. It is a favorite of children. In skin care applications, it is well suited for toners and applications intended for oily skin.

Aromatically, Tangerine Oil is similar to Orange Essential Oil (Orange Oil), but it has a tarter, sweeter aroma. It blends well with other citrus essential oils and oils in the mint, floral, wood, herbaceous and spice families.
