Our rare Organic Chocolate Peppermint Essential Oil has a rich chocolate peppermint aroma that isn't as sharp or harsh as other peppermint essential oils. The chocolate aroma is subtle but distinguishable. The aroma is reminiscent to the fragrance of a fine chocolate mint candy. Organic Chocolate Peppermint Essential Oil is rare, and its applications for aromatherapy work aren't readily known. We expect that it contains most of the same therapeutic properties as our Organic Peppermint Oil including helping to relieve headache and indigestion, reducing mental fatigue, increasing alertness, relieving nausea, relieving itching and helping to maintain alertness. Organic Chocolate Peppermint Essential Oil is especially appealing for perfumery, skin care and spa product formulations.

For topical formulations intended for adults, Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 5.4% for Organic Peppermint Essential Oil. Avoid use on or near the face of babies and children.
